Dr. Meredith Dooley, DVM

Dr. Dooley was born and raised in Tulsa, OK and knew at a young age that she wanted to become a small animal veterinarian when she would put all sorts of bandages on her dachshunds! When she turned 15, she began working for one of the best animal boarding and hospital facilities in Jenks where she could shadow the veterinarians as she was able to really see and understand the human-animal bond and how important it is for us today. She continued to work there up through her undergraduate years at Oklahoma State University where she obtained a bachelor's degree in physiology in 2006. Being a true cowboy at heart she stayed in Stillwater, OK to attend Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine and received her DVM in 2010. Immediately following veterinary school, she went straight into small animal emergency medicine for 5 years while her husband was deployed. This experience really helped her understand critical care medicine all over again. However; being a military spouse, her husband ended up getting transferred down here to 7th group and she followed along with their fur babies. She has been working with AAHA accredited veterinary clinics for her entire career and she knew that Parkway Animal Hospital would be the perfect fit for her. Not only for the quality of medicine that they practice but also for their amazing and devoted staff. She is excited to work with this team and develop true bonds with her clients and patients for years to come.
