In 1983, Jeff Waits, a young Auburn Veterinary School graduate, came to a quaint little fishing village named Niceville and bought a Veterinary Practice. His goal was to combine the science of veterinary medicine with the art of caring. By 1991, his practice had grown. By this time he had hired two additional veterinarians. He remodeled the small clinic with two exam rooms to include a second story, four exam rooms, a large treatment area, a surgical suite, radiology, and ultrasound rooms.
Parkway has continued to grow and expand through the years. Now sporting four full-time veterinarians, Parkway offers the advanced services of cardio pet, endoscopy, ultrasound, orthopedic, and soft tissue surgery. Parkway also has state of the art dental equipment featuring dental radiology. Our special brand of caring that makes Parkway home away from home for so many pets has remained constant throughout the years, and will only continue to grow.
Our staff at Parkway Veterinary Hospital values feedback from our clients. Here is just a small sample of the hundreds of happy and healthy pets that we have cared for since 1987.
Daisy just loved the staff and the vet. They trimmed her nails without incident. They were all so caring and gentle. Even gave her vaccinations without a whimper. Love this place.
Absolutely love this place!! Dr. Dooley I can't say enough good things about! Every time we go in she is very personable; would highly recommend!!
ALWAYS a great experience. Always, clean, friendly, and as close to on time with your appointment as can be expected, knowing there are times when your appointment may need a little extra time. Very professional.
